Game Over!...Round 3 Forfeit.

Hey Everyone,

I'm a bit late today because I'm here waiting on Hurricane Sandy to get here and leave already. Seeing as she is taking her own sweet little time and I still have electricity, why not put it to use. I feel obligated to state this disclaimer.  This is not a political blog and I can guarantee that these topics will not continue for much longer. It just so happened that for the past couple of weeks the debates have fascinated me and so that's what I write about. With that said lets seriously talk about what happened Monday night at the final Presidential debate.

At this point I am still confused as to whether or not that was an actual debate because it was missing just that, a debate!.Where was the argument, the course of disagreement? Instead Governor Romney sat there and hugged the Presidents policies for dear life. Now I have to say that I thought this was going to be a challenging debate for President Obama simply because since the debates have started Governor Romney has been attacking the President about his foreign policy decisions. So I thought, okay Romney is going to take advantage of this platform and really push hard. Instead what I think happened was that he realized  something and thought to himself "hey I cant just make jabs tonight at the president about this. I'm going to have to actually speak on the matter. What are my plans?, $h@t! I don't have any plans. What do I do? what do I do? okay I got it, lets just agree with everything the President has done and the policies he implemented and then worm my way back to the economy, who gives a $h@t about foreign policy!?"

Now hats off to President Obama because he was the man. He won that debate without even having to break a sweat(unlike other people). I admit that the President seemed a bit taken aback by Governor Romney yet again abandoning his own cause and siding with everything he said and he was also surprised when he realized that Romney had changed the subject of the debate to the Economy. At that time however I feel the President made a quick recovery and thought to himself, "you know what I'm going to call this fool out on everything  he is. Its about time that people truly see what I've seen all along." President Obama started to state the facts because all along Romney has been acting like hes a fact finder but not realizing that its going to bite him in the ass yet again.

People are not stupid, we have all heard the statements Romney has made and we have all heard the statements he made trying to disown said statements. I was watching msnbc where they referred to him as 'Romnesia' because how else can you explain a man who appears to forget everything he says? Guess what though Romnesia? the people of America don't have that condition and they all know who you are, a flip flop.

After seeing that display Monday night, I don't know how people can still stand by him or vote for him. I say this as an outsider watching in with clear objectivity. After all his lies and unstable strategies, how can anyone see him as a sound and stable candidate for the American future? For all the "undecided" voters out there, if after that debate you still cant decide who to vote for, then maybe you are not too bright. Or, maybe you are of the set of people who feel that by staying on the border line then you remain neutral. Staying neutral is fine but then you don't get to complain and try to have a voice because staying neutral doesn't bring about change.

All in all I'm exhausted with all the campaigning, it was fun and entertaining and I for one think its about time for this to come to an end. We wont have to wait much longer as the Big day is only a couple weeks away. Until then I share with you my best quotes of the night.

Quotes of the night:

Obama: "When it comes to our foreign policy, you seem to want to import the foreign policies of the 1980s, just like the social policies of the 1950s and the economic policies of the 1920s."

"What we need to do with respect to the Middle East is strong and steady leadership, not wrong and reckless leadership that is all over the map, and unfortunately that's the kind of opinions that you've offered throughout the campaign and it is not a recipe for American strength."

Romney: "Attacking me is not an agenda. Attacking me is not talking about how we're going to deal with the challenges that exist in the Middle East, and take advantage of the opportunity there, and stem the tide of this violence."
Obama: "I know you haven't been in a position to actually execute foreign policy but every time you've offered an opinion, you've been wrong. You said we should have gone into Iraq, despite that fact that there were no weapons of mass destruction."
Obama: "I think Governor Romney maybe hasn't spent enough time looking at how our military works. You mention the Navy, for example, and that we have fewer ships than we had in 1916. Well Governor, we also have fewer horses and bayonets. Because the nature of the military has changed. ... The question is not a game of Battleship or counting ships, it's what are our capabilities."
Obama: "There have been times, Governor, frankly, during the course of this where it sounded like you thought that you'd do the same things we did but you'd say them louder and somehow that would make a difference."
If you didn't see the debate, then just from these quotes you can tell that President Obama was on a roll and he steam rolled right over Governor Romney....lol, it thrills me to read these. Feel free to comment and let me know what you thought about the debates. Until next time....
Witty Wednesday
